The fLor’d 469 speaker cabinet incorporates four Jensen 6x9 ceramic organ speakers, two speakers are from 1968 and two are from 1967. They are built into a cabinet made out of extra hardwood white oak flooring from a recent remodel.  Open back design for room filing “surround” sound, this extension speaker cab resonates vintage vibe from these four jensens. Sounds much bigger and has great bass response. Holds up really well to pedals as well.. A 3-way jack plate allows amp impedances of 4, 8, and 16 ohm.

Strips of the oak top 1/16” ply were cut off the floor board and glued to the exposed plywood to provide a great looking edge band. Cutting these top pack strips was neatly accomplished with a sharp table blade, watch your fingers.

Inside wood is almost as beautiful as the outside. This would be the bottom of the flooring. Manufacturer used quality plywood. Just a light oil finish inside. Fully cleated panels made out of same flooring ripped down into strips.

After the baffle (sound board) was laid out on ½” Baltic Birch, a router template was cut from ½” MDF. Two the speaker holes were cut using this template but the process proved to be difficult so a saber saw and oscillating sander were used for the last two. IMO the saber saw was faster easier to control and provided excellent results.

A 3-way jack pat was mounted to the upper back oane and will provide impedances for 4, 8, and 16 ohm amps
